Campus Master Plan Anticipates New Building Space and Iconic Campus Additions

Among the initiatives that the CMP will highlight are increases in on-campus undergraduate housing, new clusters of development for collaborative research, and a focus on civic spaces including a celebration of Lake Alice’s natural landscape as the iconic centerpiece of campus. The plan anticipates accommodating another 2.3 million GSF of net new building space in addition to many significant renovation projects over the next ten years.

Linda Dixon, AICP, Director of Planning, managed the planning efforts that resulted in the Strategic Master Plan and is now overseeing their incorporation into the Campus Master Plan. You will hear more about this at our upcoming board meeting in December.
