About Engage Florida
Engage Florida is a “think and do tank” uniting students at the University of Florida with local leaders, community organizations, essential workers, educational institutions and nonprofits across Gainesville. Partnered with the UF Office of Collaborative Initiatives’ Strategic Development Plan, our team engages with the city’s most complex challenges by creating partnerships and solving problems, grounding students as active and responsible members of the community. Engage Fellows work in community labs to harness the skills, knowledge and creativity of our community to help build long-term relationships and sustainable initiatives that make positive impacts on Gainesville and beyond.
