The Normal Hall renovation project preserved over 95% of existing exterior walls, foundations, floors and roof deck. Additionally, over 80% of construction and demolition materials were diverted from our local landfills. The building installed a new roof, windows, HVAC, plumbing, and LED lighting—all to improve the building’s energy and water efficiencies. Additionally, indoor air quality has improved through the selection of finish materials that minimize off-gassing.
